Anastasia Granato was born in Sicily in 1999 and raised in Bergamo. She currently lives between Milan and Granada. With a background in law, she graduated with honors from the University of Milan ahead of schedule, while working as a Compliance Officer at A-Tono Payment Institute S.p.A. and concurrently completing a second-level master’s in banking compliance, risk assessment, and supervision.
Her academic path reflects a strong and enduring interest in gender studies and anti-discrimination law, which now guide her PhD in Constitutional Law at the University of Milan, under a cotutelle agreement with the University of Granada, in which, she is also enrolled in the PhD program in Women’s Studies, Gender Practices and Discourses.
Anastasia’s research explores gender-oriented health policies in the workplace from a comparative Italian-Spanish perspective. Beyond academia, she serves on the board of A-Tono S.r.l. and is actively engaged in volunteer work and doctoral student representation. She believes that social and institutional commitment must go hand in hand to create lasting change.
