Lidia Bocanegra Barbecho is Permanent Tenured Lecturer (Doctor) in the Department of Contemporary History<\/a> at the University of Granada (UGR). A guarantor member of the Computational Humanities and Social Sciences Unit (U-CHASS) and a member of the South Training Network Action of Decoloniality<\/a> (STAND-UGR) research group. During her postdoctoral research, she has specialised in Digital Humanities, Citizen Science, and Citizen Humanities, being PI and Co-PI of the following research projects: E-xiliad@s<\/a> (Ref. 12\/2009 and 20\/2011); Crowdsourcing en Historia. Nuevos retos metodol\u00f3gicos participativos e inclusivos en la investigaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica en Espa\u00f1a<\/a> (PID2020-117619RB-I00) and Co-Historia- An\u00e1lisis de la Participaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica en la investigaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica desde el \u00e1mbito de la ciencia ciudadana<\/a> (E-HUM-507-UGR18). She is an Editorial board member of the following academic journals: Humanities & Social Sciences Communications<\/a> (Springer Nature) and Revista de Historia Regional<\/a>, relevant scientific journals indexed in Scopus. She is also a member of the Association for Computers and the Humanities<\/a> (ACH), where she collaborates in various annual international conferences as a speaker and as a member of scientific committees. She is an expert in designing high-level European research projects, holding a Master’s degree in European Project Design from the Venice International University.
