Arianne Reimerink lectures in general and specialized translation at the University of Granada. She has a PhD in translation and interpreting and her main research interests are knowledge representation, terminology and translation. She has contributed to the development of EcoLexicon, an environmental terminological knowledge base, and she has participated in over 10 publicly funded research projects and 4 research contracts with the administration and/or private companies. Her research has been published in over 50 book chapters and research articles in prestigious publishing houses, such as De Gruyter Mouton, Routledge, Springer and John Bejamins, and in international journals, such as Terminology, International Journal of Lexicography, and International Journal of Legal Discourse. She has also presented her work at numerous international conferences, such as LREC, eLex, Euralex and Europhras. Her current research focusses on the representation of specialized knowledge through images and the transversal domain of Environmental Law in terminological knowledge bases.
