Daniel Torres-Salinas holds a PhD in Scientific Documentation and is a full professor in the Department of Information and Communication Sciences. He is the Coordinator for Social Impact Assessment at Medialab UGR, where he leads the InfluScience project. He is also a researcher in the EC3 Research Group and was formerly the CEO of the EC3metrics spin-off. As a co-author, he has contributed to the development of various evaluation tools, including Científicacvn, I-UGR Rankings of Universities, CIRC Classification, Bipublishers, and UGRinvestiga. With over 70 scientific publications in journals indexed by the Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), his research focuses on scholarly communication, altmetrics, and the scientific career, among other topics.
