Melania Cabezas-García

Melania Cabezas-García is a Tenured Professor at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Granada, where she teaches courses in the fields of Terminology, Translation, Corpus Linguistics, and Translation Technologies. She received her PhD in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada in 2019. In 2020, she was awarded the PhD Prize of the Iberian Association of Translation and Interpreting Studies, which recognizes the most outstanding PhD dissertation of the last two years (2019-2020). She is a member of the LexiCon research group and her research interests are Terminology, Corpus Linguistics, and Specialized Translation. She has participated in 10 publicly funded research projects and has published two books and more than 40 papers in international journals such as Meta, Perspectives, and Frontiers. She serves on the scientific boards of international journals and conferences, such as LREC, COLING, and EST.
